New Honda 5500W Crystal Generator

Our Honda EX5500 has been extensively retro-fitted for greater reliability; is half as loud (10 db quieter); and runs longer on a tank of gas, than a Honda ES 6500. We've further outfitted this unit with a precision Barber-Coleman AC frequency governor for flicker-free filming with the more affordable and power efficient magnetic H.M.I. ballasts - a cost savings combination (continuous rated power of 42A @120V Single Phase (21A per leg)).

Full Power 5000W Transformer Distro

This accessory power transformer distro steps down the 240V output from the Honda 5500 to 120V givingyou access to the full 5000W continuous rated power capacity of the generator in a single 42A/120V circuit. You can now simultaneously run a 2500W H.M.I. with a 1200W H.M.I.; or two 1200W H.M.I.s with two575W H.M.I.s.; or, even a 5000W quartz light. Add 200' of 10/3 twistlock cable between the Honda 5500and the 5000W Transformer Distro and your set to record sync sound without picking up generator noise.
